MURAL ART & ILLUSTRATION
Before the launch of the mural kids that attend the YMCA had the opportunity to assist in painting the mural. For the launch of the mural Crenshaw YMCA & Jordan Brand hosted a community day. I also created custom shirts, jerseys, and graphics for customization for the kids. Alongside creating the mural, I made a cameo in the Jordan Brand ‘Why Not’ film, a short film highlighting uplifting the voices & expressions of young women.

"For the kids" a permanent mural for the Crenshaw YMCA, in collaboration with Jordan Brand. This piece was inspired by the kids at the YMCA. I wanted to create art that not only inspires, but art that shows children represented in all areas of life. I grew up going to Girls Inc in Huntsville, Alabama and can give a first hand account of how important community organizations are in shaping your childhood and character.
Along with being an inspiration for the kids, this piece also brings a pop of color and joy for the community of Crenshaw.
