“For the people” Brookfield properties

The project

FIGat7th is an open-air shopping mall located in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles and is a primary shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. For this commissioned art installation titled For The People I created a bright, colorful vinyl takeover on the Plaza Level that reflects the upbeat spirit and diversity of the DTLA community. I wanted to create something that mirrored the energy of the space and highlighted this unique community.

For The People at FIGat7th is free and open to the public as part of the ongoing effort to bring the public spaces of Brookfield Properties to life through music, film, interactive experiences, and visual art.
