The project

For Black History month I was commissioned by Google Play & Revery to create a series of illustrations based off theme of “Afrofuturism” and what Black History Month means to me. While there are many ways you can define Afrofuturism and the importance of Black History Month, but for me both highlight the boldness, flyness, and representation of Black people. The ability to show up and set the tone for culture in many categories of life.

Alongside the art created for the project, I was also highlighted in an on-camera video campaign for the project featured below.
